Perry Walker

Perry is a contemporary guitarist specializing in lead guitar and live performance techniques across many genres. He has played music since the age of 8 when he began learning the violin. At the age of 10 he gave away the violin to learn euphonium and joined the school brass band.

At age 15 Perry began his career as a guitarist. He was a member of the Gympie High School's stage band along with a number of country bands and cover bands. He was also accepted into the Country Music School of Excellence program. Perry has performed at both the Gympie Music Muster and Tamworth Country Music Festival, and has played with notable country stars such as Troy Cassar-Daily and Sara Storer.

In 2009 Perry commenced a Bachelor of Music (performance and popular music) at JMC Academy in Brisbane. In addition to undertaking studies with JMC, Perry currently trains with John Freiberg as a member of the High Performance Guitar Training Programme, while playing around Brisbane and South East Queensland with JMC's showcase band, the original blues and funk/pop band "Slim Johnson and the PowerWalkers" as well as working as a studio/session player for live acts and recording sessions.

Andrew Swann

Andrew is a contemporary guitarist and singer/songwriter. He has played music since the age of 6 when his parents sat him down at a piano and at 10 started his eight year love affair with the saxophone. It was at 15 he was given the task by his school music teacher to teach other students a song on the guitar - and then it was done. Eleven years on and it has never left his life. Song writing has been the major motivation for Andrew's interest in how to play this universally popular instrument and he quickly got involved in bands writing songs.

Henry Wang

Henry started his musical training at a very early age studying classical piano and learning to compose music. An interest in blues music led him to pick up the guitar in his teens and it has remained his primary musical instrument ever since. During his formatives years he studied with George Golla, Australian jazz guitar legend and former teacher at the NSW conservatorium. Henry has performed in many cover bands, blues bands and jazz bands in venues such as Brisbane’s South Bank and the Brisbane Jazz Club. Currently Henry plays guitar as a member of the UQ (University of Queensland) Big Band. Amiel Matthews

Amiel has recently relocated to Brisbane after performing around Adelaide and South Australia for over 15 years. His skills as a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist have seen him supporting bands such as The Butterfly Effect, Shihad and Taxiride.  In 2005, Amiel's band LastMinute-Ville released the EP “Cognition” to critical acclaim. The band received commercial radio airplay on Nova FM, Power FM and Three D Radio along with invitations to perform at both the Wildaloo and Fuse festivals.

Highlights of Amiel's cover music career include Stamford Grand, The Wakefield and Hotel Crown residencies, along with other jam packed Saturday nights at venues across South Australia. He can now be found playing acoustic solo shows around the greater Brisbane area.

Adam O'Connor

BA (Contemp. Mus), GradDipEd

Adam is a contemporary guitarist with more than 20 years of playing experience. Since first taking up the guitar, Adam has engaged non-stop in what is most important to him - performing and composing.

He has a wide variety of musical experiences and styles to his credit and constantly seeks more to add to this list. He has played in Rock, Funk, Rockabilly and Top 40 cover bands and duos, Trad, Acid and Fusion Jazz ensembles, accompanied singers and instrumentalists in a variety of duo and trio settings and played and recorded in a number of other formats including Musicals and session work.
